recently when taking one of my rca cables out, the wire detached from the plug. my question is are there 2 wires that connect to the cable or just one wire? i can see one wire clearly but the other part looks just like shielding but on the plug it looks like there are 2 solder connections. i have no problem soldering it back together but i wanna make sure i do it right. and tips, tutorials, pics, suggestions, or answers to my question? thanks for the help

there should be a small wire in the middle which is +. then wrapping that should be a braided mesh looking wire which is -. just pull it back enough to twist it and resolder.
