Removing scratches from faceplate? Pics

Has anyone ever tried to remove scratches from their faceplate?

I bought my 490ib about 6 months ago, and even with very little use (the vehicle it's in has been off the road for a while) the faceplate has still managed to get scratched.

It didn't come with a case and I didn't bother getting one until now.

I'd like to basically start fresh and get the scratches out because now I know I can keep it in clean with the case.

They're not major scratches, and only one tiny scuff, but it'd be nice if I could get them out.

Ive read on other websites that Meguiars PlastX plastic scratch remover made for headlight lenses works, but I havent tried it.
You can find it at most auto parts store for around $8.
Thats what I was thinking, plastic scratch remover or polisher could work.

I might try that stuff, maybe grab a couple other scratch removers too.

I was just hoping somebody had tried this before and knew of a brand that worked.

dremel with buffing tool + PlastiX. use dremel at a moderately slow speed to not over buff the plastic and burn it. lawl i should do mine tomorrow as mines never been buffed for 3 years.
