removing emblems

i debadged my ride with hair dryer and FISHING LINE (stronger than dental line imo and doesnt get as funked up from the heat). it took me forever though since my emblems were at least two years old and my car is only parked outside... windex/wd40/googone for removing excess TAPE (supa is master lol)...or take it to a detailing place and ask them to erase it off for you. make sure if you use windex/wd40/googone to wax the area you debadged (or better yet just wax the entire car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

fishing line and goo gone, gets badges evey time. just pull the fishing line under the badge and use goo gone to remove the residue.

a while back a friend and i removed his emblems. we used wd40 to help remove the excess adhesive. worked great.

I used the same thing... I also used bug and tar remover... helped out alot... to get the actual emblem off, I used a razor blade & wd40... worked fine for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

on my car the emblems were on using foam tape, but that doesnt mean ALL emblems are on that way, and they arent. dont say things as gospel if you dont know.

i used a credit card on mine (since it was so old it came off easy) and actually used gasoline to get the crap off, but i wouldnt reccomend it. even though it didnt ruin my paint at all, it may yours.

Used a hair dryer and fishing line, dental floss kept breaking. The original plan was to repaint the emblems, but now I think Ill just leave them off, Im liking it .........Thanks for all the help, guys.
