Removing DRM from video files?

I have purchased a few movies from Amazon's Unbox, and without knowing I can't play them on my Xbox because of the Digital Rights Management. I need a program that can remove the DRM, so I can play the video file on my Xbox, and not worry about my Xbox freezing because XBMC can't read the file with DRM protection. I have tried Daniusoft Digital Media Converter, but it keeps taking me to the Amazon Unbox web page. I am trying Tunebite, hopefully it works.

I'm using Daniusoft Media Converter Pro, it can convert the iTunes protected files (M4V, M4P) and Windows protected files (WMV, WMA) to usable media files to play them on other devices.

Try to use MelodyCan software to

convert DRM Protected Audio & Video.

This software converts avi (Windows Video), WMV (Windows Media Video) and m4v, mov, aac, ra, aa, mp4, snd, aif, m4p, rax, wav, ogg etc.

Hello, have u tried Tunebite yet?Stumbled upon it myself on some discussions and the people who used it seemed very satisfied with the way it works.So it got me wondering if it's worth trying and whether it does a good job or not.

My PC was running heavily - I glanced at TaskManager and realized that Tunebite eat 300 Megas of my RAM when was left idle for two days - be carefull with this programs - it has huge memory leaks! At least you have to reboot it from time to time

doesn't tunebite avoid converting the songs and instead plays them and re-records them in a different format, thereby giving worse sound quality than a conversion?

ive had good luck removing drm from audio files by simply burning them to a disk then ripping them. simple and effective.

Maybe you can do something similar with the video files?

I use Melodycan cause the reason is:

1. easy to use, only a few clicks to put files into my iPod

2. very fast conversion which saved me lots of time - 50x

3. had a good balance between file size and output video quality

Well, as far as I read about Tunebite it seems that it also has a virtual cd function, besides the 54x recording speeds.So the quality should be very little affected,I guess.I don't mind that, esp if I wanna listen to the songs on my mp3 player or smth like that.

i would go with lilmaniac, you could just "burn" the movie as an ISO in DVD format onto your very own hard drive with nero or such. then take the ISO and load it into Alcohol 120% or such, then rip the video from the ISO into AVI format so the 360 will play it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
