Removing Basket From Motor

Hey, trying to get a basket off of a motor that has the basket glued to it with what seems like some ridiculously strong glue. I've been going at it for about 20 minutes to no avail. Was wondering if anyone had suggestions to get this **** basket off of the motor?

Motor is a Mach 5 SPL for reference, though it shouldn't matter lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks in advance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Smack the rim of the frame from behind with a hammer. Go around the perimeter of the sub and hit it in several different places. It will come off eventually.

... hopefully not like the MMATs Pro Cast I have here that knocked the top plate off the magnets before the frame came off the top plate (seriously).

Thanks for the reply Jacob //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

And wow lol, that must be some crazy adhesive if it'll take the top plate off before the basket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Not as fragile as I originally thought //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Still hammering away though.

Success! Thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif!
