Info right on your link...might not be hitting the right button...Internal Low-Pass Filter (LPF) and High-Pass Filter (HPF) allow advanced tuning with aftermarket amplifiers

can i hook up an MTX RT-X01 to take care of this problem?

Turning up the HPF to around 100 removed a noticeable amount of distortion from my car door speakers. You want your car door speakers

to have some bass. I looked up the car door speakers you have, those PWX-6.5's. Crescendo's if I'm not mistaken, you definitely want to look

towards an upgrade in your future.
