Remote Bass Knob

I wanted to get a Remote BAss knob for my PPI amp, but they are so **** expensive. Does anyone know or have a guide on how to build one? Thanx

y do u want this? this controls bass boost

welll i guess it could be benficial to you.. have it up at low volumes.. i can understand that

I want one because on some CD's that are bootleg the bass is not very noticeable. So with the bass boost, i can boost it for that CD and then turn it back down when i need to.

So any one? Besides a Potentiometer, is there anything else that goes in this thing?
