just thought I'd share what I did today

I finally got off my slacking *** and got to work on my explorer a bit..

I swapped the stock battery out with my new optima YT

Also I relocated my amp to back of my trunk from my backseat (it was annoying as hell to have amp in the backseat) which was kind of PITA since the RCA cable was too short so I had to tear the left side of my explorer down to remove the old RCA and put in my new 6M RCAs.. now the amp sits ***** in the back, it is in need for a false floor.. I ve been looking for a builder, I got one builder spoken for but nothing is being confirmed by that person yet..

I installed the stinger volt meter which I really like a lot.. I always have wanted to keep track of the voltage of my vehicle since my gauge does not tell me what volt is it running at in numbers just in a needle which leaves me with some assumptions..

I drilled a hole to run the wires thru from back of the volt meter and then used a sticker to stick the meter on the console, I am digging the look of it a lot.. I am working on finding a yellow film to put over the blue film so it would light up green which matches rest of the illumations on my console..

I ran power wire and 4 channel RCAs to bottom of my backseat so I can install my 4 ch amp soon... Actually I was planning on installing it today and install my components as well but I ended up f**king it since running the wire into the door jamb is fking PITA so I decided to call it a day and do it other time maybe tomorrow or some day soon lol..

I think that is all I did today.. but all that was kind of time consuming since I had to remove everything on the left side in order to run the wires thru and then reinstall everything back on :/

off to the pics

(I know the wires are messy, but i ll clean that up once I have the false floor installed

(the gauge sure looks so bright in the pic but actually it is not bad and looks decent in person, I personally like it and I am OCD with things so if it is decent to me then it s good hah)

P.S. I got a Kicker bass knob and 4M KnuKonceptz RCAs for sale, hit me up if you want one of them

P.S.S. I am considering buying another YT to mount next to that existing YT, seriously I have so much room after removing huge *** stock battery, YT looks tiny in there lol so I am thinking about mounting it sideways so I can fit another YT, but of course money wont allow me buy another YT at this moment, hope to do that soon)

that amp is nice....was looking to get it (zx700.5 right?)

whats your box tuned to?

(thats a big *** port)
lol no that is a zx2500.1

tuned at 32hz.. it got aeros inside the box you just cant see it.. it is called compression box..

2500 on an omega?
yes sir, and the omega is taking it nicely

Actually a build log is pics of you doing ish to your system and what not, so I would think it would be considered to be in the build log...........and what I say fawking goes, got it? Good!
