You are correct...The ancient romans spoke latin...I don't know why I said italian as I knew most languages in europe decended from latin...My bad, at least I wasn't a dick...DOH

Any of you Bible Thumpers going to go see Religulous? looks pretty funny, and maybe even informative..... I wanna take my uber religious grandmother to go see it. We always debate religion, me saying i think it might be a load of crap, and her praying for me so i dont go to hell haha goodtimes.

I'll definitely be seeing Religulous, but I'm of the same opinion as Bill Maher (sp?). I think that religion, if it brings you peace or hope or whatever, is generally a good thing. However, if people place too much stock in it, if they use religion as a structure on which to base their lives, then religion does nothing but breed passivity and discourage free thought.

Religion can be a good thing as long as you don't see it as unquestionable truth. Letting three thousand year old people do all of your thinking for you is just plain asinine
