Regular Cab Silverado Needs Custom Center Console

Just got a RD audio alpha 12" sub and now need to put it in a box for my truck. I highly doubt it will fit behind the seats and this really isn't an option since I am 6'2".....which brings me to the custom center console. I saw a thread with a f250 having a custom center console for his back seat that wrapped behind the seats a tiny bit and something like that might be what I'm looking for. I have no experience with boxes or car audio and need help. Sub is to be matched with OS autotek mean machine. The center console will be removed and replaced with sub box. I want the box to have cup holders and amp rack attached as well. Thoughts, ideas???

Are you asking for designs or for someone to build it? To very different options...as for the amp, just make a panel going off to one direction behind the seat and mount the amp into that and flush it out. Fairly simple...as for the rest..almost need the truck here to design it.

I'd really appreciate that pro-rabbit. I have the $$$ for the install just need the right people to help me finish it and get this bad @$$ sub in the chevy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I assume the person you hook me up with can also do a double-din and alarm install as well?

Anyone else here on the forum know of anyone in the Orlando/ Central FL area that is good with box design, construction, install I would greatly appreciate your responses.....also if you have any input into the design or any cool ideas to help with my build any reply would be beneficial. Thanks guys

Yea, I don't think all that would be any problem for most of the people I know. I'm waiting on some return calls. I will post up as soon as I find info...

If you are in a hurry I would suggest checking out prices at local shops. My friends are a bit busy and may take some time to get back with me and then more time to be able to get back to you and work on your truck.

Yea, best bet is to hit up a shop. Most of the people I know have full time jobs and do this on the side. With out knowing if they have free time, that is your best bet(a local shop).
