the fact is they are all kids....not many of us could say that at 18-21 if a football booster said here drive my mercedes around town or ill give you 10 grand to wash my car that we wouldnt do it.....for these few that get caught it happens all over the country.

personally for the millions and millions of dollars these schools get for going to bowl games and endorsement deals they should be paying some of these kids.

they do get paid a little bit from their allowance they get from the ncaa but once they get hurt and cant play that scholarship they get goes bye bye

#1 - it old news...but it now looks like they have some evidence linking Bush to the accusations

#2- he is might get stripped of the Heisman....and he might lose endorsements due to his tarnished image. he didnt **** anybody nor deal drugs so nobody is going to give a ****. and if in the record books it gets taken away, he still knows he was the best in the counrty at that time so who cares...

#3 - he might lose his ring (USC could forfeit games....past or present?)

though in the record book itll be taken away, hell still physically have the ring in his possesion. even though on paper it says they didnt win, they know they won...

It's a very good law/rule. Think about it a kid wants to go to his local D1 school who isn't very good and doesn't make much money, lets say UCF for example. But the kid is a sick talent, something like Noel Devine for example. If this law isn't in place...schools like USC or Ohio State or LSU can be like hey here we will give 100 grand and a house and a 150k sports car if you come play for us..........now is that fair to UCF at all?

Another example is if the kid is thinking about commiting to a team for the NFL, or a choosing a agent.........if the agent or team spoil the kid, odds are the kid is going to go with the agent or team.

They can't recieve anything because it isn't fair to toher colleges, teams, agents, ect., what ever the situation may be. The rule can be real favorable to athletes and helps them make the right choices.

They did worse shyt than Bush supposedly did.

2 reasons...

1) The NFL is a 'Pro'fessional league while the NCAA is college / amateur. The sanctity of the NCAA is that all schools are on an even plane and recruit through scholarships not dollars. Otherwise Notre Dame would be the yankees.

2) What the Pats dids is nothing, BFD... I can't stand them like the next person but I bet 80% of the coaches did and do the same. Pats were just caught in the action.
