Reggie Bush might get OWNED!

for one, this has been going on since before reggie bush has even been drafted so its pretty old news.
and two, why would reggie bush give a rats ***.....hes a millionaire now. just because he gets his heisman taken away, hell still have a fat *** national championship ring.....oh and his millions of dollars.....

title of the thread should be "USC is about to get owned"
The rings go as well. Money not so much but Leinart's ring, Carroll's ring, etc. This could affect the whole school. It can also affect recruiting in the future.

The Cavs were once fined 250k for letting LeBron practice with them for a week. In that case the risk was worth the reward.

It's a very good law/rule. Think about it a kid wants to go to his local D1 school who isn't very good and doesn't make much money, lets say UCF for example. But the kid is a sick talent, something like Noel Devine for example. If this law isn't in place...schools like USC or Ohio State or LSU can be like hey here we will give 100 grand and a house and a 150k sports car if you come play for us..........now is that fair to UCF at all?
Another example is if the kid is thinking about commiting to a team for the NFL, or a choosing a agent.........if the agent or team spoil the kid, odds are the kid is going to go with the agent or team.

They can't recieve anything because it isn't fair to toher colleges, teams, agents, ect., what ever the situation may be. The rule can be real favorable to athletes and helps them make the right choices.
Sorry to spill the beans, but just about every D1 athlete receives some sort of gift, money, etc. from supporters of the university and don't report it. Trust me on this. And I honestly see nothing wrong with it either.

I agree. I say college athletes should get some sort of stipend. If they shouldnt the coaches shouldnt either.

I mean cmon, yeah you give them free room and board and an education if they choose to use that, but that's maybe 40-50k. they will make the school millions.

i know that in the record books it will be taken away but what im saying is that no one is going to physically show up at his house and take his ring. the college purchases that for them, its his.....

in the case of the cavs it didnt really matter who he practiced with, whoever won the draft lottery was who was going to draft him. its not like he really had a choice what team he played for right out of the draft.

T.O. probably got fined more for his antics
lol

Lol yeah he lost a lot for saying that the Eagles had no class for not recognizing his 100th touchdown. Very true. I saw no difference in what they are ACCUSING Bonds of and what Billy Boy did. He did what he did to enhance their performance. And if performance enhancing is wrong he should have been banned. He was literally stealing signs.

Who knows, LeBron had a stock so high he could have been a late first rounder as a Sophomore in HS. Going into his Senior year he starts working out with the Cavs. Decent squad and mind you how weak the east was at this time. Cleveland just so happens to have the worst record the following year. Maybe they did try hard, but it leads you to think. The team with the most losses gets the most amount of ping pong balls. about 8 times out of 10 the worst team picks first. Portland lucked up this year and got #1, but were they really lucky?

Dude that is gonna spill the beans just got out of the joint, so maybe somebody will pay him to shut up. He has more to gain if he is quiet than if he is chatty about the situation.

lol if you go back to then the cavs didnt have any problems getting the worst record in basketball...they did that for a couple seasons and if the clippers werent so terrible then the cavs would of been the worst..

i think ur numbers are off. im pretty sure the worst team, despite having the most ping pong balls, havent gotten the first pick all that often. in fact i think every season they make it a point to say that, that they think there are too many teams in the lottery and that its unfair because the worst team very rarely gets the first pick.
