Refurb?

I was looking on ebay and found some Kicker 750.1 for $208 plus $30 for shipping. Then i looked more and found ones for $175 and $25 for shipping refurbished. Is it safe to go with a Refurbished model, is it going to be beaten up, not be as good etc?I just want to save as much money as i can.

I have bought 2 refurb'd car audio items and ain't had a problem with them yet!
