They sell those at the red wing store near me (on Polk st/south blvd). I have never tried them on, or worn them. Mine are steel toed, but I prefer them over many other shoes, and wear them anytime it snows or is bad weather. Just cant beat them, and they are completely re-buildable.

They've got some awesome gel comfort soles. Never been able to stand on my feet in steel toes for 8 hours before I got them. I tried red wings, and they seemed more durable, and as you mentioned, resoleable, but I love my Cats.

I've got some cats, and worn daily for about 6 months so far and very comfortable for a steel toe....seems to be holding up well too
