Redtop or Yellowtop?

if you are going to have your car off when you play your system for over 30 min yellow top

the reserve on a red top is good but not close to a yellow top

I used/ am using the same redtop for over 5 years and ive played my system for long periods with the car off, but rememer the battery was not made for that.

Redtops are for starting but do offer a reserve

Yellow tops are deep cycle but can also start a vechile

Well I normally dont run my system when the truck is turned off. Thanks for the response //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Red top under the hood. Yellow top for a second batt in the trunk. If you use your yellow or blue top under the hood then it will not last as long compared to a regular car batt.

Also get the group size that fits your car and not what others tell you unless you want to do some modifications.

well they said just like audiolife said they would

With a large audio system you should use YellowTop batteries.
If you are wiring the batteries in parallel you should use batteries of the same type, both YellowTops. Whenever batteries are wired in series or parallel they should be the same size, type and age.

You can use a RedTop for starting and a YellowTop for your accessories if you use a battery isolater.

Thank you,

Daryl
