Redesigning Site...Your Thoughts

We are looking to change things up a bit on our site. First off, the way we have it now it takes awhile to navigate to the os commerce portion of our site. We are probably just going to go with a pure os commerce site. Here is a link where you can checkout what other companies have done with the platform we use.

I have been going through a bunch of them trying to get ideas. But if anyone here sees anything they like, let me know. I don't have time to check out all of them, but of course I am open to suggestions. So let me know if you like any of them, and I will take a look. I am just looking to get some good ideas so feel free to comment on anything you see as well.

looks like a site that would try and direct me to a bunch of crap that i dont want.

i didnt look at it for more than 2 seconds. i dont even know what it is.

It shows about 1000+ other companies that use the same ecommerce tool that we use. I just search around looking at other shops to see if there is anything I like. But am open to other peoples opinions if they find something they think works. But don't feel obligated to help if you don't want to.

You should get someone to skin your OSCommerce for you, OSC is by far the best ecommerce solution available at the price now (free!) and has great community support.

For $200 or so you could probably have someone do a nice skin for you, you could always use a premade skin but nothing beats getting exactly what you want done if you are serious about your business.

Just too much going on with that site for me. I would simplify it down. Make catagories and have those take you where you want to go. Use the google approach, less is more.

Agreed. That is why I am going to switch it over to 100% Os commerce. No more homepages and surfing around just to get to the products which is all people really care about.
