Red kinetics

Can anyone tell me more about the red kinetics? I know they're branded for the "offroad" usage, but how do they differ from the audio batteries?

From what iv'e read, they seem to just be rehoused blue (audio) kinetics.

According to the website, they are a lighter version of the same battery. The specs show a reduced weight.
