Red Alert Command And Conquer

So I just found that hell march song in my library and now its time to play some CC Red Alert. I can't install the game since it needs windows 95

So... if any of you guys still play it can you point me in the direction of an emulator or some thing that can get this game running? Cheers.

run compatibility mode.

I run aoe2 in xp sp2 compatibility on my vista.. for some reason takes about 5 minutes to start up then it just loads randomly.

If I remember right, you have to select the compatitbilty mode AND download the patch off their webstite. I know that is the case with C&C original.

Purchase "Command and Conquer: The First Decade" from, well, anywhere. It has everything pre-CNC3 and it's all revised to run under XP.

I didn't really care for Red Alert, or Red Alert 2. Honestly every CNC RTS before Generals was kind of lack-luster to me. I stuck with Total Annihilation and TA: Kingdoms.

i still have the retaliation for the PS1 i play. great game. i miss the one i had for the computer though. the poor thing is to old to run those programs anymore.

my dinosaur desktop that runs win98 is too annoying to boot up just to play

The first generation is a pretty good compilation. I recommend it. Alot better than the CnC3 game that came out. Yeah it has flashy graphics..but it just doesn't have the charm that the Red Alert 2 games have. They are in the Top ten games of all time, both Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge.

and 'warfare' i think it was called, also from c&c1

hells march does bring back memories of my first time playing red alert the day it came out. awesome series it was/is.

right click executable or shortcut and click the compatibility tab.

tried that, no worky. I used to have a patch that made it work in XP.
