Recones for new RE MX12's

just wondering if anyone knows where to get recones or has ever reconed a newer style Re mx12 sub

i just read on a forum that greg at re audio will do them really cheap

i emailed him and he doesnt stock parts for the mx

hmm. well idk. i own an mx also, but i havnt needed a repair on mine yet. howd you blow it?

and i just did a search on it when i saw your thread and thats what came up, so i dont have any first hand experience with dealing with greg on reparing subs. did you read the thread in the link i sent you? he clearly says hes greg and that hed do it... unless it was an old thread.

did you check out the other website i gave you?

yes i checked the link from termpro and thats for an sx, not an mx, i also email fixmyspeaker.com , and he said they dont stock parts for them , i dont actually own the mx subs yet, im just checking up to see how hard it is to get parts for them if i ever did need to recone

I'm gonna assume you'd be somewhat limited as far as recones go on that sub, kinda like the newer XXX.

I know the MX uses a 4" coil, and is quite tall so the former needs to be relatively long. RE doesn't sell recones anymore //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif?
