Recommendations for 2k-3k watts @ 1 Ohm under $300

My buddy has two ID Max 12s that he's getting ready to have a ported enclosure built for and run some decent power to. He's really not that into car audio he just likes listening to the finished product. He was running them sealed on a DSC1500.1d and without talking to me he bought another one from ebay with the intent to run them strapped. Unfortunately for him is subs are D4 so he wouldn't be any better than his current amp unless he runs them @ .5 ohms. He's running the stock 150 amp alt w/ big 3 in his ride so I don't think he has the electrical to try and pull that off daily.

Anyway can you guys recommend some amps for under $300? I figure that's about what he can get back for his two DSC1500.1d amps.

Bold is confusing.....not into car audio but has subs amps etc.

So it's not a 7k amp?

He's into it he just doesn't understand the basics of wiring etc. he's the kind of guy that usually goes to a shop and says I have this much money what can you do for me?

Find a good fsd2600.1 used
