Recommendations – 1500rms – 15inch( x2) - $600

Hi,

Looking for two 15 inch sub woofers. I have 1500rms to send to each woofer, I would like to run ported which means I am aiming for a more SPL style set up. Can people please give me some ideas about what to run? At this stage I am looking at two Kicker L7 15’s, For the price can much compete with them? RE audio maybe?

Any help would be great.

AQ yes, but your budget would require a little more. Unless you find them used. L7s can be had for alot less if you wanted to save money. I bought two used L7s D2s for 325 shipped. My 2 cents

AQ sound a popular brand, Do they have a website at all? Otherwise does anyone know any online websites who will ship this product to Australia?

If not, How would four Image Dynamics subs go against two AQ 15s?

the website is audioque.com and for two fifteen hdc3 they are 249$ a piece plus fifty for shipping which is right at your goal of $600 they are probably your best bet..

So they will post direct to Australia? I don’t think shipping will be $50 to here though.

I am happy to spend a little more, Even up to that $1000 mark. I just know if I dot put a reasonable limit on it I can see myself spending a hell lot of money on it.

Any other recommendations or do I settle with the AQ ?

if you run AQs your not really settling with anything.

they are great woofers and a **** good price.

you will get plenty loud with that setup

AQ does not currently ship there woofers to Australia.

For the price, Is there anything other then kicker I should check out then? Would the RE XS series compete with the kicker?
