how much does it cost (on adv.) to recoil a sub...I have a 15" kicker l7 that i wanted recoiled to replace my 2 type R's. im putting the recoiled sub plus another 15 L7 in my new dodge 1500 would i be bttr off with the type r's or should i get the l7 recoiled? and how much if so...

Call Kicker about a re-cone...it depends from manufacturer to manfacturer, generally around $75 to $100 plus the cost of shipping both ways.

Is it under warrantey?

Im pretty sure if it was bought authorized, then kicker recones for free.

na my friend knows a guy that does it but i dont need the cone i need the coil...right?

Thats why you should buy authorized....

If I were kicker I wouldnt recone it.

You will need to send them the whole sub. Call someone, and they will set you up. You send in the sub, they put new softparts in, and ship it back.

But since its the old one, they might not be able to do it.

You'd need the whole assembly.

Only way to get to the coil is to remove everything else........
