ey yer all in so cal cool.cool deal man. I need to make some serious mdf baffle rings for the 8 inchs tho, its rattling the crap out of my 01 miata doors. I use Fatman deadening, its ok but the higher freq. rolling bass is resonating my doors. Still gotta find those phantom rattles in the door mechs to. is it me or the tweeter very directional? are you deadening the inside of your other door panel to?
With the 5,000,000 double dollars on my headey yer all in so cal cool.
Vashu hehe are u the stampede?
I wouldn't say that. At that level of speaker performance will be better based on installation. That is a very nice , enjoyable sounding set. Just make the best use of them and you have nothing to envy. A Rainbow Profi set would be comparable, but bias towards driver's characteristics are purely of personal taste, and also application dependant.best sounding meaning the cleanestthat I have heard, not necessarily the cleanest that exist, im sure Rainbow would put me to shame right?
With that note, I would invite you to audition them AFTER I got my installation finalized. I'm going to do a mdf baffle ring + clay this weekend and deaden the door some more. These 8 inch woofers are rattling the mechanical stuff inside the door. But like dude said, it's ALOT in the installation. Will let you know when im finished!!I wouldn't say that. Depends on the headunit, I wouldn't do it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifWill I damage my HU running the stock2 ohm speakers on off it?
well, it will be a while before mine is finished also. I have to deaden my ******* doors, the fron't vibrate but seem to be deadened pretty well
I'm still not sure what to do for the rear.
I can use the stock speakers or the dual mag mid drivers.
The stock mids are 2 ohms, so I'm not sure they can be run off the hU? What will happen if I hook 2 ohm speakers to my Eclipse CD5444? They seem to be a bit louder, and deliver more bass, even when I run them both in series off only one channel of the HU, However I want sterio sound for the back, but I'm afraid to hook each o them on their own channels.
I know other people have done this and said it worked fine. Will I damage my HU running the stock2 ohm speakers on off it?
My Friend jsut said he checked out my speakers at teh audio store but he said he liked the Diamond Hexes better so he bought 2 set of them for his titan. I hope I went with the right set, or that they are at least comparable to the diamond hexes.
