yea. i know no one here likes rear fill, but i alwyas have hella heads in the back, and i feel my bass is kinda lacking so if there any good coax's or small subs that i can put in my rear deck?

car is a 97 528i, stock size is 5.25", but i can probably get 6x9 adapters. any good 5.25" subs/midbasses? any good 6x9s? how about tang band 6x9s.

they will be run off of a pg x200.4, but i don't need to use all the power

I agree with Jman my buddy has 5.25's in his rear deck and they sound good i got BA 6x9s in my rear deck but hopefully this summer gonna switch them out to something else just not sure what yet.

They're single 4 ohm subs, and they would do fine with 40 or 50w... lowpass em at 250hz, and highpass them at 50 or so if you can. Forget 6x9's unless you want to do some cutting.

cool. thx for advice. i see u have tang band in ur sig, what are u using, 6.5" subs? i'm new to car audio and just started my first install and just put in my head unit/sub+amp. dumb question but if i wire these 5.25" subs normally and put the + wire to the positive and - wire to the negative, will the amp be running at 4 ohms?

I assume you have an E39 by the 528. In that car it is really easy to put 8's in the rear deck, they were actually an option mounted IB on the M. They nearly bolt up and the trunk is nearly sealed, it won't take much work to fix either. I'd go that route over the 5.25 subs anyday.

If you have an E34 there are also holes you can aim the 8's through but you will need to make a baffle to hang from the rear deck.

In either format that car is a great car to do IB installations on.
