I'm doing some planning to gut the carpet and liner out of my trunk in my 02 WRX, and rebuild the subs (2 10's) and amps right into it. I also plan on incorporating design for luggage compartments and perhaps some lockable boxes.
Is the typical procedure to first build a skeleton of sorts with some 1x2's? How are these attached the the body, particularly the trunk floor? I dont want to drill a hole into the gas tank or something.
Does anyone have a link to a tutorial or diy on this?
