Reapir my BXi1606D or new amp?

Okay so yesterday my Hifonics Bxi 1606D blew and I was wondering if I should send it in to get repaired or look for a new amp with better quality and maybe a little less power. I have about 250 to spend on this.

contact shallowfu, or maybe some store near u and see how much it is to fix. Might get a good deal on fixing it.

what is wrong with it? bad power supply,no output,etc

It powers up, the Hifonics logo still lights up and all but I checked the speaker inputs and it wasn't giving any output

Yep, I had two of those POS's that blew on me. I bought it from an ebay store called eclectic mart. The first one blew when I first installed it which was bs because I set the thing up exactly how I had my old system set up and never had a problem before. I did what the instructions said and the next thing I know, the thing is smoking like a burnt hot dog. So, I email eclectic mart and they tell me to return it so that their distributor can test it and they will send me a new one. I agree and two weeks pass and I get a new one. This time it worked fine when I installed it. Loved the thing. Made my SSD's pound and I couldnt ask for more. About two weeks later, the stupid thing starts going into protect and then later the entire thing blew on me. I emailed Eclectic mart again and this time I asked for a refund. They came through and refunded the majority of my money. BTW, both of them that blew still had the blue hifonics light lit up but nothing else worked. Just yesterday I bought a used Diamond 1200.1 from someone off here and I am hoping that it this amp wont fry on me too. From what I have heard, they are good amps. My advice to you would be to spend a little more money and get a better quality amp, you wont have to go through as much of a headache as I have this past month. Hope that helps.
