I just bought a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 and it just got delivered. I bought it to power 1 mach 5 maw 15. the amp is rated at 400 rms x1 but it appears to be 2 channel. and the website says it's not bridgeable. if I just hook it up to 1 side will it still be getting the 400 watts rms?

Just hook it up to the middle outputs

Usually amp manufacturers will put "two" outputs on their mono amps so you don't have to parallell the wires inside the box

Mine is the same way

so generally i'm suppose to hook up each voice coil to a side? Even though it says "not bridgeable" are you sure that won't hurt it? that's still like bridging it right?

Haha, you cannot bridge a mono amp man

Nothing to bridge

Only reason it's like that is so you can hook up 2 subs easy, I'd parallel the wires in the box and just use one set of the +- on the amp, its cleaner that way

ok the its' already wired parallel. That's with the red terminals all wired together, and with all the black terminals all wired together? right?
