Hey, the man got elected with the help of alot of special intrest groups and if your read the first stimulus bill and the second bill. Obama made good on alot of his promises and paid these people back with cash and special projects in both of these "stimulus bills".

Now there was some good in both of these bills, but there was ALOT of pork to alot of slack*sses.

i love it how last year when bush signed his stimulus everyone LOVED IT because there would be a measley 300-600 dollars in their pocket and it did absolutely nothing. now obama is trying to actually do things to help the economy and because you arent being given a check to waste on stuff in the classifieds you are mad.

sure maybe his plans wont work either but at least hes trying a different approach instead of doing what bush and mccain wanted to do which is the same shit that we know wont work.

Seeing that our national debt went a good jump up, the value of the dollar is going down even farther, and wall street is showing it thinks Obama and Pelosi are off their rockers, I think this is shaping up to be a very expensive failure. Obama has proved there is no change, just that he was the best lier and we are under politics as usual, just that we are paying much more for it. Very few of the projects in either bill went towards projects that would actually recoup or pay back this massive skyrocketing debt. Once these pet projects are done, bridges and roads are built, from what I have seen and read, we will be back where we are currently and very little will have gone towards paying off the debt (let alone the interest on the debt just added). The only way to overcome this mountain is raise taxes tremendously. Either way, my son, and his kids will be paying for this "different approach" for decades.

to the one who said why should we have let obama let the companies fail... You need to have punsihment for failure.. plain and simple this is just negative reinforcement.. Oh you failed... its ok heres some money.. The companys need to fire off all the union workers and get people in there that aren't going to whine and ***** and get shit done... all the car companys need to do this.. There are plenty of people out there looking to work for w/e and not worry about this or that..

What happens if you went bankrupt before this.. you fail.. you learn and move on..
