realitivly new, question about needing another battery or alternator

hi, im somewhat new to the car audio scene..i had two mtx terminators which were super weak..(newb mistake). anyways sold them and am now looking at kicker cvr's or cvx. i would prefer the cvx's because there about double the power of the cvr. the thing is is i dont want to have to upgrade my alternator and get loads of batterys in my car to power these things. so anyways, would i beable to get away with two cvx's doing about there potential with a stock alternator and just a cap? thanks.

Your alt is a 90 amp. I wouldn't recommend running more than 900W without any electrical upgrades.

Yeah, that 90 amp alt is going to hold you back a little, dude. I'd suggest making up for the lack of power by running 3 or more 12" subs that require little power.

Maybe some DC Level 2s, Incriminator 187s, RE Audio REs or SSA Dcons.

Agreed. With a hatch, you shouldn't have any problem getting loud if you have a lot of cone area to make up for the lack of power.

Like asked above, whats your budget? Do you have a amp already? If so what are you working with power wise?

300ish for two 12's. i have a amp, but it was for my old subs. its just a mono pioneer one that does 600wrms at 2 ohms. but im ditching that and am going to get whatever amp is nessasary to get most of the potental out of my subs. if 900wrms is all i can get from my alternator thats what im shooting for in the end.
