What did you actually clamp out of the alternator at idle? I have a DC Power 300XP that gets 210DCA (yes, I clamped it) at idle so I'm kinda finding 180a hard to believe

Agree with you, and how many single alt guys have a 370 lol

This is a ford 370, this particular alternator benched right at 180 at idle (650 rpm), if you watch the video you can clearly hear the motor bog down to below idle RPM speeds under the amperage load, Quite simply, there is no tricks here, bare minimal wiring ect, if you dont believe this, you really wont believe what happens next.
