just wondering what books if any on car audio you guys got started with? what are the most informative? books that have to do with installation, choice, etc.
I actually didn't start out in car audio...my electronics background is in radio/broadcast electronics, but Ohm's Law carries over whether you're working at 50 Hz or 50 MHz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
What's on my reference shelf now? Let's see...
The ARRL Handbook - Most RF circuit design, but good general electronic theory, both solid state and tubed
The Loudspeaker Design Cookbook - More than you ever want to know about speakers...written with a home audio bent, but good stuff nonetheless.
But to be honest with you...I wouldn't go this route. Since finding these boards, I've found a wealth of info, like http://www.bcae1.com, that would be so much better for an electronics newbie to digest. Tackle the harder stuff later.
Common Sense, Physics, Electronics and trial and error is all I did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
