Do you think that it is the best or one of the best 8's out right now? What do you think the minimum watts could be put to it? thanx

i was thinking of going with 10 of them in my car to split up my 1700rms so they wouldn't blow lol. umm, i would say that they are up there for the best around other than maybe the JL 8w7 or the E8A are both very nice. ummm i'd give it around 75watts to maybe 100.

You think they would make a good midbass speaker? I'm thinkin about makin some components.. Possibly three ways with them but I'm not sure.. Just gettin some ideas.

what would be the best amp for just one RE8? There is no price range.

How about a McIntosh MCC302 Two-Channel Power Amp. 150watts RMS x2 with a bridged output of 600watts RMS. Enough to power 4 RE8's handsomly. Pure clean McIntosh sound quality. If money truely wasn't a thang, thats what I would get.

How about a McIntosh MC2102 Vacumn Tube Power Amplifier. 200watts RMS bridged. With all the warm sound of a tube amp. Yummmmmm.More info here...

thats unneccsary for something that is only playing bass/mid-bass frequencies. you wont see a huge diff between most high quality amps and that.

What about a MTX 251D? it's going in my mom's expodition. she said that i blew that factory sub............... and i did. but that's besides the point. i dont know how to wire anything up. We called the ford place andthey said that it would cost about $1200 to get it fixed.
