RE XXX's?

i have a friend whos picking up two 15" XXX's.

he asked me to find a single amp that he can run them both off of. anybody have any suggestions?

he doesnt have them yet, so he can go with D2 or D1 doesnt matter at this point. he has a hifonics brutus 1608 right now, but he wants to ditch that and just run a single amp.

if you guys could just throw out some ideas, and ill get a better idea on if he wants to buy new or used and how much he wants to spend later.

lol, thats what im running and we were trying to do things a little differently.

not a big deal because its a great amp and i think thats gunna be the best option anyway.

How much power I fed them would depend on the size box I had them in. Since your friend is getting dual 15's, they will likely be cramped in too small of boxes, in which case Id look into running their max RMS rated wattage bare minimum (2000 watts)... probably more for 'headroom'.

what would be ideal for them? size wise? its going in the back of a jeep, so hes got some room, but hes not trying to loose the back seats.

FWIW: I have a single XXX-15 and Memphis 4K which will both be here in a couple days... plenty of box space to work with in my build (which it sees like you do too) so i plan tp push it pretty hard. It's a D2 and there is no way in hell i am going to waste a $k running it at 4ohms so it should be seeing some **** nice power....
