RE XXX Vs Eclipse titin (15)

Say both are 15's gettin the same power but one is the XXX is ported in a 4.5cf box tuned at 27 and the Eclipse titin in a sealed.. i guess 3cf box and they are gettin 1200 watts.. so witch one would be better....

just wonderin cuz my friend is getin the eclipse titin 15 and i wondered how it would do up with a XXX 15

No personal experience with a XXX but the Ti's can hold thier own. In sealed enclosures they are severely limited though. Get it in a 3.5^3ft enclosure tuned to around 30-35Hz and watch it shine, even with 500wrms over "rated power".

With 1500+ watts RMS on my XXX12 in 3.2 cubes tuned to 28 it would flat destroy my buddies sealed TI 12 with 1000wrms. His was in a Ford Probe and mine was in a shitty rattle trap 1989 Olds Cutlass supreme.....

not argueing the Eclipse is better, but next time you are doing a comparison, try to put the opposing driver in a box that is optimized for peak performance, instead of a box that severely henders it.

Also don't have 1 in a sealed box and the other in a ported box.

okay guys i get ur point stop bashin.. plzzz and he did put it in a (ti) sealed box tryed to tell him to put it in a ported but he doesn't have the space.....now he put a mmats i guess its a d200hc and it sounds okay to me.. tought it would wang alot louder...

LOL, what I was saying is that the box he has now is large enough for a ported enclosure. So it would only be an itty bitty bit larger.
