Guys I found an RE XXX 12" sub for sale locally to me. I don't need it and don't care if I own it but it seems fairly decent price. I don't no the history but it looks to be In good shape. I could possibly trade some stuff for it too...

This guy... No it is 05 or before and those are the most sought after, a 12 can bring anywhere (depending on buyers) 250-350. After 05 will take very long to sell and you will be lucky to get 300 for it.

7 years later I stand corrected... They dont look anything alike, its very easy to tell them apart.

300 is 250-350? The last old xxx12 on ebay sold for 290 shipped.

Look at ebay completed listings and youll see the new ones go for 600 regularly.

05 go for between 250-350 depending on size and condition, 04's are the same, 06 and up go for between 250-500 depending on size

new xxx's, 06+ arent worth it

This isn't ebay bro. No one want's that shit for those prices on here. You could say the same for the w7 but, you don't see people here paying 500 for one. Those are new btw, new vs. preowned obviously is different.

Lol ok! I think it's a newer style cause I did check eBay and it looks pretty close to the same. I can buy it for about 270ish and I'm sure I could trade for it too.. I don't have any idea what I'd trade but I have something I'm sure..

Would I notice a difference between that and my Gcon 12 or DC level 4? Those xxx r so tall ill need to have a box made for it.

Bumpin this up. I just went and looked at the sub. **** load of dust on it but no dry rot, no cracks. Looks good. Dude does not know what year it is from but said 2000 rms. dual Vc. Of course. Anyway, I looked at the coils and the thing I'm unsure of with them is they are darker than say normal. My Gcon coils are decently copper colored but these were dark. Not quite black but dark. Wasn't supper stuff either. I lifted slightly up on the bottom of the cone, moves fine didn't see rub. I just don't no about the coils... I am not familiar with this sub at all... Anyone know what they should look like? Oh and I can buy it for 250.00 out the door.

Somebody prolly put too much power to it they can handle 2k all day i'd be careful on that I dunno if they make recones for that model they might but I never heard of it if you get it let us know how you like it I may be trading two of my sa12's for one so I need some opinions

Yeah for sure I will. I'll have to have an enclosure made for one but not too worried about that..
