RE XXX Comps

Hey does anyone know if the RE 6.5 XXX series Comps will fit in the door of an 08 mustang with not to much custom work to make it fit. My mustang is currently in storage so i cant get to it for a little while thanks.

more than likely not they hav3e a mounting depth of 4.x inches that is super deep i own a pair and the mid is gigantic. i like the amount of bass that comes from them and the tweeter is smooth worth the work though, and defienetly deaden that door, as soon as i got mines installed i wad messing around playing tones and it played 28 hz **** well......lol

Ya ive heard they are a really good set. I will find a way to get them in my car if its to much for the door i will try to make a kick panel for them

This is the specs on the amp that i will be using to run it.

60W x 4 @ 4-Ohms RMS

100W x 4 @ 2-Ohms RMS

200W x 2 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS

2-Ohms x 2 bridged Stable

So i can either run 100 rms to each and 100 rms to split between 2 RE 5x7 or just run the XXX comps off the amp and the 5x7 off the alpine deck what you think would be better?

I don't think you would have a problem fitting the XXX's in Mustang doors. Those things are just monstrous. But don't quote me on that.

You'd be better of either not running rear fill at all, or running it off your head unit if you really want it. The XXX's can take some abuse.
