I just wanted to let everyone know that we don't plan on releasing a 4 ohm version of the Extremis 6 as of this time. Also, the Extremis 6 won't match up well with the Koda crossovers. 3 3/4 " deep !!!

If you want long throw, you need to have a deep motor structure to support it. We did what we could to keep the motor size down by using neodymium magnets. Imagine if we did a standard overhung motor. To get the same excursion the driver would have been much deeper.

Also, I know that the poll is favoring our speakers right now. But I want to say that I find polls on forums to only show the local bias more than giving an accurate representation. This is because many times you will find people voting for something just because they own it or know someone who owns it, but has no real world experience (or many times knowledge) of both. I'd recomend instead looking for people's opinions who has owned/experienced one or both of them, and look at the differences between the two.

Get some Koda 8s.

2 15" brahmas in the rear, 2 Koda 8's in the center console (stealth) and 2 Extremis 6's in the front doors or Koda 6's, since there is no 4 ohm Extremis'.

Thanks for the email! Actually, we haven’t announced any details about a 4 ohm Extremis 6 at this time. However, it may be a possibility in the future, so keep an eye on our website.

Just out of curiosity, what is your application? Are you planning on using these in a car audio install?

Thanks for the email! We don’t have the exact dimension listed on the website yet but the mounting depth is ~3 5/8”. Yes, the driver will work very well in an IB application in a car audio environment. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
