RE vs Fi

my friend bought a 12" Fi Q, and it sounds amazing and loud as **** imo. We built a 2ft^3 box tuned to 32hz and it sounds phenomenal.

He ordered the sub in December, and UPS delayed shipping for 2 or 3 days due to a snowstorm (in CO i believe) and it still made it to his door in ~2 weeks from the time he ordered it.

I have nothing but good to say about that sub

The same exact subs NO but similar YES.......................VERY. 

Scott Atwell was 1/2 owner and the designer of RE subs at its conception until 4ish years ago.

 

Now the same Scott owns, runs, and designs Fi/Ascendant Audio subs.

You are mistaken on your dates. Scott has not been gone from RE for 4 years.

the Q will have superior SQ and will be better if you plan to run sealed.

i see in your sig that you have an RE sx 15', would you recommend that or the fi Q? Im looking for SQ but still have it beat pretty good without being over powering ya know.

At comparable price levels, the equally price Fi subwoofer will outperform the equally priced RE subwoofer.
