RE vs Fi

While I've read a lot of compliments about both these companies on the boards, I have yet to hear subs from either of these companies. I'm looking into purchasing an RE (probably 1 SX instead of 2 SE's 12's, due to space constraints) but also looking heavily at the Fi lines of subs (site appears to say Q or BL are both $259 for the 12).

For those who have heard subs from these companies, in a ported box (hopefully with 2 or 3 cubes) with an old Kicker 1200.1 running for power - relative to the others what are the strengths and weaknesses of these subs? Would you highly reccomend one over the other taking into account: SPL, SQL, as well as cost?

Thanks

dang, just found a poll thread on this, sorry for the repost, would still appreciate any current info you guys might have

I hear that thy are very similar but i never had the chance to listen to any of the fi subs. i do have a 12" re se sub powered by a kx600.1 and i'm loving it.. its loud as hell
