Re vs Alpine?

Which one would be ideal for a single sub set up with 1200w running to it @2ohm playing mostly rap.

And are those suppliers trustworthy?

I personally like RE but not that version, I like the newer model with just the RE in the middle of the sub.

I also like alpine though so I could go either.

Or is there something else for the same price thats better than both?

Dealercost isn't a trusted site.

That model of RE is better than the newer ones that just say RE on them

neither subs can take a true 1200 rms daily

although ive seen people give type r's 1000-1500 daily

Well as long as they can take around that it should be fine, i'll just adjust the gain.

If dealer cost audio isn't that great then I guess I wont get from there, which pretty much rules out getting the RE because other than that it's like $25 more. I mean unless it's $25 better, then I'll get it

But from my understanding they are around the same.

Alpine R .... sure, it's not reconable but it will take a shit ton more abuse than the SE would.

Both are great subs.

If you can find an older SE get it over the type r

I wish I could, but i can't find any RE's for around that price, except the 15's which I can't fit.

i love my RE SE and HC. 1200 would be some nice headroom.

i have my SE in 1.12 (net) sealed and it shakes my whole car (Accord Sedan)
