RE upgrade

Let me first say thanks in advance for any advice!! I spoke to Greg (lead tech) at RE Audio today, I am currently running their entry level RE 12" powered by a Alpine MRD-M301 RMS Power at 4 Ohms 175 W x 1 RMS Power at 2 Ohms 350 W x 1 he told me to move up to the SR series and I would be good. My question is will my currrent box work it is 11X14" sealed. I am a bit ignorant in this area I just love good loud music. The original sub and box was done by a guy in Ohio I know he crossed the wires inside but cannot remember what it is called. Something like 4 ohm to 2 ohm I think. Last question.... will I hear a noticble difference in the RE model and SR model? Anyway thanks for any help.

What's the other dimension? Need height, width and depth of the INSIDE of the box.

The box is 10" deep and 13"tall and wide and will be sealed.
