what i need is some opinions on which sub that will get a lil louder off of my amp and will sound similar or better and will laugh at my amp.which 1 is it ? i thought the sx was going to be the last sub i bought for a while,but its not taking my amp too well.and i am not using bass boost and my gain is less than half and i play the volume around 18 out of 30.so,which 1 is it ? FI,AQ,or DD

if its wired to 2ohms final, it should take that ZX1000 all day no problems, you shouldnt run into any problems with it

maybe a Fi BL or DC lvl4 with lvl 5 coils if you wanted to upgrade

yea its wired to 2 ohms,it was supposed to be aluminum coils,but i dont know.the dust cap gets a lil too warm.idk if thats supposed to be normal or not,but i would think thats not so good for long gevity.i want a sub that i wont have to worry about.was looking @ a dc lvl 4,maybe i'll just go with that....would like 2 aq 2.5's.i see they only come in D4 coils though and dont want to have to change amps...i want to stay with a 2 ohm load.
