Re Sx, Fi Q, Fi Bl 15"

just checking back. i think he will be placing his order of the re stuff before the weekend so i got to hurry if i decide on the sx.

the guy with the idea on 2 15"s, if you havent had a sub in your car/havent had a very good one.... ie prefab crap woofers/bandpass box from bestbuy, then 2 15" inch Q's will probly be loud as hell to you, the thing is that like everyhing, you get used to it and may want louder.

2 15" Q's would hit pretty hard imo

gets loud, not my car, but its an example

^ yea u are right i have a shitty amp with a not soo great memphis audio sub in a small *** sealed box so it does not get loud at all and im very new to all this car audio stuff....before i got on this sight i never new about any of these subs haha....thx im gonna stick with the Q's then

yeah... mean i used to have kicker cvr 12" in a prefab and thought it was loud, then i got this and built a box the right way, got my amp all hooked up everything the right way, threw some deadener in there, made sure evertyhnig was wired correctly and had enough power...lemme tell u it really does wang in my...ears

EDIT: and also, dont just take my word, or anyone's word for that matter, period....go on google and read some reviews on the woofers you are looking at, and look at benchmarks etc.

The Bl I have used with 1200 and 3000 daily I hated. I hate the BL. Very inefficient and inaccurate.

The SX I have played with was a great woofer. Loves the 1200 I gave it daily, and that my friend gives it now.

I believe multiple Q's will be my next setup

To bring back a couple week old thread...

I am pretty much debating directly between the Q and BL 15's. Just one 15. I know it is a bad term, but SQL, is what I'm looking for. I listen to a lot of metal, and rap, and just about everything. Kick drums are a major part of my music.

My question is, off ~1000-1100 watts, would I notice a big difference in SPL between the Q and BL. Or would the Q be plenty loud and still retain much more quality?

Thanks guys.
