Re Sx, Fi Q, Fi Bl 15"

i plan on getting one of these. i thought i was set on the Q. But the guy that builds my boxes opened a shop and says he will get me a SX for 300. this woofer will be run on a cadence 1000w amp in a 3.2 cubes ported tuned to 30-32hz. how does the sx stack up compared to the q and the bl in output and sound quality? how much louder will the bl get than the q and how much difference will the sound quality be? any help you can give ill take

300 maybe a bit high for a single SX man...check ebay if you wanna save a few bucks...or i have 2 10" SX's for $300 shipped to you

well about 300 is my budget. i know i will get a good waranty from fi because steve has taken care of me before with a blow sub. so if i go the sx route i want to be able to take it back to the shop and get a new one if i run into problems

Will that shop be an Authorized dealer? If not, forget about a warranty.

the BL is great for SQ not a strict sq speaker but still good and above all else it wangs out the SPL and the out put is fafarkintastic for 12" subs it puts most 12" subs here in oz to shame and i mean SHAME the FI BL is probably one of the best daily drivers that gets low and loud and has a good balence of SQ and SPL but leaning towards the SPL if you can afford it go with the BLz as i think they are actuallly my favorite sub at the moment and not just cause i have them as i have others that are great subs aswell from different comapnies including custom subs made to my specs and such and i still love the 12" pair of BLz ive got but if you get them go fully loaded daily with universal option then if you decide to go spl you can change over the motors to a BTL sub just my opinion but check prices first as 300 for a sx is a bit high isnt it or hang on im thinking SSD sorry id have FI over RE anyday of the week purely for the service and communication you get but im in australia and here if you dont have DD you dont rate but Im gonna change that monopoly

im looking for a sql sub that gets pretty loud but will not be to peaky at one frequency. in this test i really like the results of the FI Q. it got very loud down low but kept it up out performing most drivers all the way up to the upper sub frequency range. from 25 to 65hz it only varys 9 dbs. most others are atleast 15 some 20 and 25 dbs. do you know how the bl and sx will be. i want a sub that will get loud but still not get sloppy and will sound good (not peaky) with most music.

to give a short answer to a long question. You cant go wrong with the SX or the BL.

I missed that. I havent heard the Q but from "word of mouf," it has good reviews as well.

in the same boat as hornet.. 1000watts will be decent for any of these woofers? Will achieve decent output?

a thousand watts to any sub is loud to most people....im not gonna lie... i have one 12inch Q powered by a hifonics BXi 1206D at 1 ohm in a 2.5 cubes tuned to 32hz, something like 1100 watts or so going to it,and its the loudest **** thing at my high school by a longshot, and most of the time people are just floored at how loud it gets

yea i want to know as well because i kind of have my heart set on 2 15" Fi Q's but maybe now i might get the Fi Bl's... hmmm i want loudness but i want the SQ as well, wonder how loud the Q is to the Bl???
