using someone elses copyrighted logo for monetary gain... a big no no

not trying to be an *** or any thing...but what about vinyls on cars...I know at my local graphics shop, they have to purchase a CD with all of the copywrited logos on it, is it still illeagal if you buy them from someone that has purchased a copy of the logo??
