RE se12

right now I have a alpine type S 12 running off a RF bd1000p in a sealed box about 1.6 cubic feet I was wondering would a single se12 hit harder than the alpine and would the box have to be smaller than that or could I put it in the same box I am willing to build another box if I have to? I like the way the alpine sounds but I would like it to hit harder and I don't want to spend more than 250 please help

Why not put the SE in a ported box?

It would really slam then!

I had a RE SE 12 on a planet audio 850D.

It was in a 3cubic ft (I think) slot ported box.

like PSI said they slam in a ported box.

I havn't heard many 12s that put out that much boom.
