I've heard a lot of people complaining about customer serviece lately when dealing directly with the company. Yes, they of course warranty their products, but if you get some retarded blonde on the line when you call with a probelm like some have complained about, it makes it difficult to actually get the service you are entitled to. They make a great product, yes, but it isn't worth what they are trying to charge for it. When they were the forum boner, they were readily available to anyone for a decent price when ordered direct. Now that they've switched to dealer networks, they have alienated their original customers. I, for one was very interested in buying an RE product before the change, but now I have to drive for hours to get to my nearest RE dealer and pay an astronomical amount of money. RE could have continued for a long while the way they were, but made the change to make more money off of 16 year old kids who don't know any better. Fi on the other hand, was built from the beginning to offer great products at low prices, and was made to survive doing so. since the company's inception, there has been nothing but praise for the products and CS on this and many other forums. Good word of mouth is bound to spread. When a company offers to modify its woofers so that it will fit in a customer's truck (like Scott did with me), that kind of customer service is going to carry the company a long way. Especially when combined with great prices on amazing products.
