okay was doing fine on my tinsel lead replacement, just dandy, got excited removing old tensil from coil lead and snapped coil lead right under the cone (no way to reweld tensil wire to it)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif could someone help me as to how to re-run a new vc lead or whatever i have to do. thanks!

not too many options. if you still have any of the snapped off wire showing, you can dump some solder onto it and use the solder as the connection between the remainder of the VC lead and the tinsel. other than that, recone.

if you REALLY want it... i guess you could seperate the cone from the coil section and run a fresh coil lead then reglue it. but thats a lot to dive into.

thanks for the reply dude, I mean i figure i'll go ahead and try and re-run a new vc lead but what should i use as far as materials for the new lead, i know some form of copper, but im worried about resistance. Do you know if i can get some vc lead through RE? thanks a lot dude, really appreciate it!
