HAHA....I have been following this thread....I have learned a little bit more than i already knew.....But if you screw over someone in my Audio family (Loyd, josh99ta, k-mart.....and little nick) you screw with me.....

I talked with ben on AIm many times back when i was getting a 8A......he did offer me a discont on a 8A before they hit pre-order(because me and him share the same b-day....thought we would give a gift to each other....yes it is gay but it was a discount).....then at the last min i talk to him about that price he quoted me before and he acted like he had never said anything to me about a discount....like it was his evil twin talking to me.

We i went ahead an payed ful price when the pre-order started.....AND YES MY CC WAS CHARGED WHEN I PLACED MY ORDER......NOT WHEN IT WAS SHIPPED 2 MONTHS LATER.

Just thought i would trow in my 2 cents worth i had with ED

wow if any1 did that to me i'd tell them to **** off..im surprised u actually bought the sub.

sad thing is charging ur CC that early is illegal.....

he did the same thing to me and if i would have known it was illegal at the time i would have personally gone to IA and ***** slap him.

after reading this thread i guess i know why my 12a cone blew off from the former w/ an 800 watt amp w/ the gains barely turned up.

Hmmm... so I wasn't the only one who was promised something then got something else instead.

Initial quoted price differed. Our agreement over the telephone wasn't honored. Thought I was the only one. Hmmmmm, perhaps it's time for me to change my avatar too?

I was referring to the current preorder. ibanender was referring to the current one, and that isn't true now, thankfully. I had someone else who took it that way, too, and I apologize for not being more concise.

I beg to differ I was charged for my 16kv2 over a week ago. I'm sure it didn't ship yet. I've dealt with eD BS before I'll deal with it again. Yeah those SP's were crap David told me so. All 3 of mine sucked. Next stop DD I like my RE MT 18" quad 1.4 just fine. I bought one of the black motor 10th one built by hand models //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Anyhow just hope my 15" K works all right. Hope good luck to everyone else who continues to use eD. I like RE but I'm opting for DD this time around or Chris Norris's garage built subs LOL or Mike Ankey's garage built subs. For the record, eD changed build houses so now when they die repeatedly, they can't blame the build house (well, they can, but it wouldnt do them any good, everything else that comes out of there is fine), only another bad design!

Everything will not be finished shipping this week. (there's a lot to be shipped).

eD's phone line & Live Support System will essentially SHUT DOWN from this thursday morning, until the following thursday.

Why are we doing this? Becuase with the limited manpower we have here and the HUNDREDS of orders to be shipped we need to divert all of our resources to these shipments.

Email. E-Mail / Ticket system will still be avaliable. But fair warning. We've got a lot to do
