RE or ED??? Decisions, Decisions!!!

I broke my 4 k 15's 28 times... in 6 months..

user error my ***.. try FLAWED design..

do remember at one time in my life, I held Ben in very high regard, and considered him a very personal friend.... and was given much much more information than 99% of the group..

I highly suggest not turning down this highway... won't be pretty...

the only time ED hasn't sucked.. back when Ben first started the company, with Resonance doing the building..

the **** has been hidden, covered up, and lied about by people trying to help ben out, who THOUGHT they had a friend...

guess what? cover ups over.. its all coming out..

31 people who sent subs back for service that got no subs or refund back...

50 subs that were not magnetized....

Shipping subs 6-8 months after they were supposed to be sent....

Something like a 40% failure rate....

ED freaks dont like it when people tell the truth, they get all defensive then get me banned from forums funded by ED.

I agree with Justin - your thought's are way out of here. I'm sure some of that has happened - but to that extent - you're pushing it. I agree with you guys - RE is a higher quality choice of subs - but of course you can notice that with the cost in them too. If I wasn't so poor I would've gone with RE too - but eD does for me what I want it to do.

JustinPoints - so you have tested both the eD K and the RE HC head to head in multiple boxes for both SQ and SPL, running through the lanes in both SQ and SPL competition? What's that? No? Thought so...

If you can get the HC's, I would go with them. They are awesome daily driver subs that are built like tanks. The eDk has can't hold a candle to it. I would take it over a 15A any day of the week.

As for the ED and everybody situation, at first I thought it was just Josh (jlaine) holding grudges against Ben for leaving him but it seem a lot of veterans seem to feel dissappointed in the way Ben treated them. I don't know what happened to him but he changed a lot over the last few months. He is burning a lot of bridges and it doesn't look like he wants to rebuild them either. :thumbsdow

How much power did you send it? Be honest. I played mine 50 watts below rms and have had no problems.

Anywhere from 150-900 watts. 2 15A's failed, as well as 2 10" K's. The K's spider was sitting on the top plate.

Ever played with an HC? I'm gonna take a guess and say you haven't.

Do yourself this. Get a good amount of power. Give it to the HC. Notice, nothing happens. Now, give it to an A. Oopsy, there goes the cone!!

HC can take a TON of abuse. I can personally attest to it. The A cannot, it only took me 2 failed A's to figure it out, too.

they never funded anything at SIN.....

you might be banned from SIN..i don't know...but if you are...it would have been josh's doing, and he wouldn't have done it for anybody else...he would have done it because you were an ***...not because any ED groupies told him to....
